We are the only independent, family-owned funeral service in Petersfield. Since 1934, three generations of our family have provided a continuous service to the communities of Hampshire, West Sussex and beyond.
The company was established in 1934 by Percy Vincent, in partnership with his father-in-law William Rowland, originally as a department of Rowland, Son and Vincent, 'The complete house furnishers.' In 2004, after 122 years of trading, the furnishings part of the company closed but the funeral business continued under the founder's name.
Our founding philosophy, that every client will be cared for as though they were part of our family, is maintained today by Director Marsha Vincent, the founder's granddaughter, continuing the tradition begun by her aunt Mary Vincent.

A relative of the deceased, someone present at the death, or the person arranging and paying for the funeral may act as informant. Funeral directors are not allowed to register a death.
All sudden or unexpected deaths must be reported to the Coroner, who will decide whether a post-mortem or inquest is needed.
