Independent family funeral directors since 1934
Advice for families following a death in hospital, a care home, or unexpectedly.

You will need to make an appointment at the Patients Affairs or Bereavement Office to collect personal effects, and the death certificate will be emailed to the registrar. Once paperwork is complete, the funeral director takes your loved one into their care.
The death will usually have been confirmed by the home, who can advise on contacting the doctor to arrange registration. You then advise them when you are ready for us to take care of your loved one.
All sudden or unexpected deaths must be reported to the Coroner, and the police are usually involved to rule out suspicious circumstances. The Coroner then decides whether a post-mortem or inquest is needed.
We understand the importance of getting everything just the way your loved one would have wished.
